No, we are not suggesting that our words are God’s words; nor are we suggesting that we qualify to canonization or sainthood. We are but, two fundamentally rooted arm chair theologians who have been on the fringe and in the closet too long.

We do believe that every canonized word was written by human beings. Those words have been interpreted for thousands of years by other humans. It is our contention that not one of those humans along the way was perfect. Each and every one came with faults, prejudices, and human failings. Expect no better here.

We are all saved by the grace of God, just as we are all created in the image of God.

This is a collaborative effort. Some days we will post individually, on other posts we will collective share with you. We hope you will feel moved by the spirit to engage with us as we unpack out faith from the closet, dust it off and navigate our way back to God.

On a side note, we are people of humor. We find humor in many things, and no doubt that humor will find its way to our pages. The humor may be irreverent. Please do not allow these outbursts to deter you from our real message. Recognize that God provided many amusing things and people in the world. We embrace that as proof that God wishes us to laugh. The bumper sticker below, is about as irreverent as we get. You’ve been warned.
